Rarity and Value
This unique silver pendant was inspired by the fossil of Koolasuchus cleelandi — one of the rarest and most enigmatic amphibians ever discovered. Known from the Early Cretaceous layers of Victoria, Australia, this colossal predator belonged to the extinct family Chigutisauridae. Its fossils, dating back 125–120 million years, are among the youngest known remains of temnospondyls, making the species a true survivor of a vanished era.

Discovery and Inspiration
The pendant’s form was taken directly from the contour of an authentic Koolasuchus fossil — a direct imprint of prehistoric life. This rare connection between natural history and artistry bridges millions of years, transforming scientific heritage into wearable art.

Craftsmanship and Presentation
Cast in solid silver, the pendant captures the rugged texture of the ancient creature’s form with striking accuracy. Each detail, from the broad amphibian head to the sinuous tail, is sculpted to evoke the mystery of life that once thrived in Australia’s primeval swamps.

Human Touch
More than jewellery, this piece is a dialogue between time and creation — a relic reborn through human craftsmanship. It carries the silent memory of evolution, now polished into an elegant contemporary form.
